What is Provided?

• The Compassionate Care volunteer is trained in understanding the special needs of individuals and their families as they face a life threatening illness.  The volunteer provides companionship, may assist with family housekeeping tasks, child care, transportation or errands.  All services are free of charge.
• A comprehensive resource list of professional and community services.

What is not provided?

Compassionate care does not provide professional home care such as skilled nurses, therapists, home health aides or counseling. Compassionate Care may provide information and advocacy to help access these services.
