Can you help us this year?
Every year we invite local schools, offices and businesses to participate in our bouquet sale. Each high quality spring bouquet costs $8. Bouquets that have been pre-ordered will be delivered to selling sites across Ontario County on March 6th and 7th. One person at each sale site must take responsibility for taking orders, notifying Compassionate Care of the number of bouquets ordered and collecting and sending in the money for the flowers. Each bouquet brings the hope of spring just as Compassionate Care volunteers bring hope and care to all the families served.

A willing heart is the primary requirement for taking this training. Three hour classes will be held at the Canandaigua VA on 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning April 4. Attendees will gain the confidence and skill to provide supportive companionship service and advocacy for individuals and families facing a terminal illness. Graduates of the classes will have the opportunity to volunteer with Compassionate Care, House of John, Ontario-Yates Hospice or the Canandaigua Veteran Palliative Care program.
